We recommend keeping your firewood from sitting directly on the ground so that you can prevent moisture from the ground from entering the wood. Stacking firewood on a pallet is a good solution.
Stacked firewood may provide shelter to some furry friends or rodents. It’s a good idea to stack your firewood a little ways away from your home to prevent unwanted guests.
